International Networking
International projects in which the Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia is involved show that we are an ever more recognised partner in the European project networks.
From 2007 to 2013 we were a part of the partnerships of all the four programmes of transnational territorial cooperation (Alpine region, Central Europe, Mediterranean and Southeastern Europe), the Interregional Cooperation Programme – Interreg IVC, the Lifelong learning programmes, as well as other programmes which enable effective drawing of European funds. Today we are active in two new transnational programmes (Danube, Adrion), Interreg Europe, COSME, Europe for Citizens, Horizon2020 etc.
Our team takes part in different international conferences which represent an opportunity for exchanging good practices and gaining new development ideas.
Since 2006, when we participated in the first international project, and until today we have participated in 28 international projects and cooperated with 230 partners from 33 different countries.
International projects include tourism, environment, human sources, natural and cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, innovativeness. Read more about the main development projects we have implemented so far in the References section.
Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia also connects its Slovenian partners to international networks, which can contribute to a higher quality of living in the environment where we work. In certain instances it is only present as a project maker, subcontractor or associate in the professional implementation of projects.
