In Slovenia the number of elderly people living in their own homes instead of going into elderly care homes is increasing. For this reason we have decided to participate as a partner in the project INN.O.V.Age and obtain knowledge and good practices from international partners about how modern information and communications technologies help to improve and prolong life of the elderly at home.
The obtained knowledge was transferred to Slovenia and helped our state institutions to develop good solutions in this field.
- Establishment of regional innovative hub in the field of independent living of the elderly (decision-making authorities included, developmentals, faculties, companies, experts of user needs)
- Regional SWOT analysis
- Publication of the good practice catalogue from the field of independent living of the elderly
- 5 study visits with participating local and national experts
- 3 international theme-based workshops with participating local and national experts
- Rise of knowledge of local and national experts in the field of independent living of the elderly,
- Regional event about independent living of the elderly at home and active ageing.
