The goal of the project was to improve regional transport policies with the help of new knowledge and awareness of all the potentials that intelligent transport systems have. The final goal of the product was to implement regional plans from the field of intelligent transport systems.
Through this project we introduced local and regional decision and policy-makers to intelligent transport systems, improved their knowledge in this field, transfered good practices from the European Union and spreaded knowledge from the field of intelligent transport systems.
Within the framework of the project, several theme-based seminars were organised and brochures were prepared with the theme of diverse solutions from the field of intelligent transport systems.
Together with local decision-makers at the municipality level we attempted to improve regional directions in the fields of sustainable traffic and use of intelligent transport systems, which would enable easier planning of trips and use of public transportation to the inhabitants of the Heart of Slovenia, as well as to visitors.
