One of the main project activities was the identification of good practices in the field of use of information-communication technologies in tourism in rural and mountain areas. Implementation plan for the Heart of Slovenia area was developed, therefore experiences which will obtained during the implementation of the DANTE project were integrated into local, regional, and national projects. Within the framework of the project implementation, partners took part in different theme-based seminars, workshops and study visits.

The project presented an opportunity for tourism development and use of different information and communications technologies in the Heart of Slovenia. Project partners had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest trends in the field of use of various information and communications technologies in tourism in rural and mountain areas.
 

The main goal was to attempt to increase accessibility of tourism providers of the Heart of Slovenia area with project activities. These enable them to be more connected by using new technologies, which will facilitate their presentation and communication over the internet.
