Movable greenhouses on the Gozd Reka Estate 17

Project contents: Movable greenhouses are very common in North America for the many advantages they possess; however, they are very rare in Slovenia. By setting up two movable greenhouses the holder of the project will increase vegetable production and its quality all year round. The greenhouses will be constructed by the Slovenian company; however the transfer of the information needed for the construction will be realised by an American company that makes and markets movable greenhouses. The addition of natural fotovoltaic system which will produce the energy for smaller ventilators will contribute to an increased growth of vegetables, moreover, the system of collecting and storing the rainwater will contribute to a more efficient water use. The holder of the project will also cooperate in the network of producers of the Jarina Cooperative. A workshop will be organised for other farmers who will thus be informed about the new approach of food production. On the basis of the results, an expert article will be published.
