Pot from the Black Kitchen

Project contents: The Budnar homestead is one of the important spots in the Heart of Slovenia. The Kamnik Tourism Society implements various workshops and other events suitable for external visitors on the homestead, and thus contributes to the preservation of intangible cultural heritage in the Heart of Slovenia. The theme of the project "Pot from the Black Kitchen" is a survey from the field of pottery or ceramic technology in the area and the production of the Slovene-English catalogue. A potter’s colony was organised whose results – pots were exhibited on the Budnar homestead. Later the exhibition moved around the area of LAG The Heart of Slovenia. The project also included the implementation of children’s workshops called the Cooking Pot.
