The Nature’s Heart Connects Us

Project Contents: The project entitled “The Nature’s Heart Connects Us” is a continuation of the project “Open Learning Environment in the Forest”. The innovativeness of the project can be observed in the introduction of the idea of experiencing learning in the forest within the framework of educational institutions. The project is oriented towards kindergarten and school teachers who wish to introduce new approaches to learning in kindergartens and schools in the Heart of Slovenia. A three-day seminar will be organised aiming to promote forest pedagogics in natural environments and active cooperation with foresters and other experts. Kindergarten and school teachers will be offered professional help in implementing activities. At least 5 new kindergartens and schools will actively participate in the network of forest kindergartens and schools. The website www.gozdnivrtec.si and its new Facebook website will be created, which will inform about the project. The public will also be informed about the project through popular and expert articles in the media.
