Promotion and Permanent Opening of St. Nicholas Point

Project contents: The hill Gora sv. Miklav¾ is one of the popular excursion points in the Tuhinjska dolina valley. St Nicholas Church with walls which were built against the raids of the Turks and the old sacristan place with black kitchen and farmhouse with preserved farm tools are all situated on the hill. At the end of the week many tourists from near and far like to stop there. The Gora Tourism Society had been taking care of the hill Gora sv. Miklav¾ for several years. Lately it has mostly been paying attention to physical renovation of this rich cultural and historic spot. Through the project LAG "The Heart of Slovenia" there was tidiness, permanent opening and guided tours of the hill on Saturdays and Sundays. At the same time they prepared a promotional leaflet and updated the website www.sv-miklavz.com.
