Improving Tourism Offer with Alpine Village, Climbing Area, and Arrangement of the Waste Water Treatment Plant
Holder: Mladinski Inkubator Institute
Project contents: The Alps camp is located in the nature in the vicinity of the settlement Kamniška Bistrica and gondola to the Velika Planina pasture. The Mladinski Inkubator Institute, which is the holder of the activity of the camp, expanded the existing offer of the camp with the help of the LAG project by arranging the Alpine village and the climbing area. Alpine houses represent an alternative to classic camping in tents. The houses are furnished with beds but there is no electricity or running water, which makes this tourist spot even more attractive to visitors. It gained its recognisability with media publications as well. In order to solve the problem of wastewater from the toilet facilities, a device for biological wastewater treatment was set up in the camp. The project included the production of flyers, promotion of the camp’s offer on different websites and improvements to their own website.
