Project contents: Caravanning represents a new tourism product for the Heart of Slovenia area, at the same time it is a novelty in the Slovenian tourism. With the help of the project "Development and Promotion of the Trademark The Heart of Slovenia", the Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia developed an offer for holiday-makers with motorhomes in the Heart of Slovenia. On the basis of an inventory of touristically attractive spots, a network of caravanning-friendly places was made according to the French model, i.e. mostly farms where guests will be able to taste and buy homemade products and stay the night (as well as take care of the car), see the local sights and enjoy nature along the way. A leaflet was published called "Caravanning around the Heart of Slovenia" with a map and marked rest stops and camps, natural and cultural sights, inns, sports and other tourism offers, open-door farms and motorhome park facilities. In addition to this, two tours around the Heart of Slovenia were carried out in cooperation with the Caravanning Club.
